We will be undertaking our financial year-end activities, and the following will be the impact. Kindly take note of the same.
A) Payouts will not be processed from 28th March to 1st April (being settlement holiday). Therefore, facility to raise payout request will not be available from today till 31st March 2024
B) Funds pay-in options will not be accessible from 1pm of 30th March 2024 to 31st March 2024, midnight. Funds can, however, be transferred from 1st April, 12 am onwards
C) Back Office will not be accessible from 30th March 2024 1pm to 6pm.
D) 29th March 2024 will be trading holidays for all segments on account of Good Friday
E) Also, as 1st April is a settlement holiday, the derivative sale credits, intraday profits, of 28th March 2024 will not be added to margin for trading.
F) Stocks bought on 28th March 2024 will not reflect under T1 stocks in the trading application on 1st April 2024

It has been brought to the notice of the Exchanges that some unscrupulous persons/ entities operating through Indian and International mobile numbers, through social media platforms like WhatsApp Groups, Telegram Channels, Facebook, Instagram Channels, etc. are falsely claiming to be associated with reputed financial institutions, showcasing fake certificates purportedly issued by SEBI/ Exchanges.
The activities of such persons/ entities may include:
- Claims of being associated with organizations/individuals of repute,
- Providing unregulated trading platforms and unauthorized trading applications which resembles or impersonate Applications/Websites of registered trading members,
- Luring to join/create "Institutional account" to get guaranteed/high returns,
- Offering assured/guaranteed returns on Investment in Capital/Forex/Commodities market,
- Offering to handle trading account of investors by asking investors to share their login credentials (including passwords),
- Claiming to facilitate pre-IPO subscriptions with false promises of assured profits,
- Offering dabba/ illegal trading services.
The investors are also cautioned and advised not to subscribe to any such scheme/ product offered by any person offering indicative/ assured/ guaranteed returns in the stock market as the same is prohibited by law. Further, investors are advised not to share their trading credentials such as user id/password or any other sensitive information with anyone. It is imperative for investors to understand that investments offering high returns usually involve high risk including fraud risk and there can be no guarantees of assured returns in the securities market.
Investors are urged to observe utmost caution, conduct due diligence, and verify the registration status of any entity claiming to be a SEBI/NSE/BSE/MCX/MSE/NCDEX registered intermediary. It may also be noted that Exchanges have provided a facility on their website as given below, to check the details of the registered members and its Authorized Persons. Further, the designated bank accounts named as client bank accounts to receive/pay money from/to investors as disclosed by the trading members to Exchanges are also displayed under the said link. Investors are advised to check the details while dealing with any entity.

Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) has revised its trading hours, effective from today, Monday, March 11, 2024.
This change has been implemented to align with the updated daylight-saving timings in the United States

We would like to bring to your attention a significant update concerning the Commodity Trading. The MCX Exchange is undergoing a transition to a new Commodity Derivative Trading platform, which necessitates some adjustments.
Important points:
Transition Date: The transition to the new platform at MCX will take place on 13th October and the new platform will be available from 16th October 2023. Please note that there will be no change in Trading Platform for you to place Commodity orders. You may continue to place orders in Rocket or Rocket Plus. This change is only at the level of MCX Exchange
Revision in Trading Hours on 16th October: On 16th October, Commodities market will start at 10.45am and continue till 11.30pm. Normal trading hours will restore from 17th October, 2023
Unavailable Trading Facilities: The following trading facilities will not be available until further notice from the Exchange:
Cancellation of GTT and GTC Orders: All open Good 'Till Triggered (GTT) and Good 'Till Cancelled (GTC) orders will be automatically canceled at the end of 13th October.
Review and Reschedule Strategies: We recommend reviewing and rescheduling your trading strategies in light of the unavailable trading facilities and the cancellation of existing GTT and GTC orders.

Recent Important Changes in RMS policy
We have been constantly upgrading our Risk Management System to ensure our clients get all opportunities to trade but with rich risk management parameters. With this in view, the following changes were made in the recent past to enhance your trading.
1) Increase in stocks available for Intraday trading.
Until recently, around 200 stocks were available for intraday trading. This has now increased from 200 to around 800 stocks. While some stocks get a leverage of 5 times other get a leverage of 2 times. Read here to know more
2) Fresh positions in stocks options contracts are blocked from 2 days before Expiry date
We observe that few carryover stock options positions change to In The Money due to market movement on the expiry day and are hard to square off before market closes, due to lack of counter party. To mitigate this risk, we a blocking fresh positions from Wednesday (if Thursday is the expiry) on Stock options. You may however, take positions in the second months options. 3) 50% margin on Contract Value in all Stock long options
This is another step taken to mitigate the loss occurring when OTM, CTM contracts unexpectedly becomes ITM towards the close of the market. When such a scenario occurs, clients are forced to take or give delivery without having sufficient cash or stocks in demat account. This ends up in a huge loss which could be prevented if the options were squared off well in advance. To ensure that our clients do not get trapped in such scenarios, we impose a margin equal to 50% of the contract value on all Long Options on the Expiry Day. Though this may not be visible in the front end, it would be computed at the back end. Read here to know more

From 13th February 2023, Brokers are expected to report the segment wise allocation of client collateral (funds) before the start of the market. Further to this, intraday funds transfers are to be first updated at Clearing Corporation before updating the Trading Limits in the Front End, else exchange would levy penalty.
You will need to give a time of 1 hour for the Trading limits to be updated for all the funds transferred by you after 8 AM. For seamless of usage of funds, we suggest you transfers funds before 8 AM on the trading day.
